The fifth hole is a shortish par 4 that gives
all players a chance at a birdie. It is bounded
on the left by out of bounds the entire length
of the hole. A good strategy is to hit a three
wood or an iron to get in the fairway and set up
a short wedge to the green. Trees on the right
and a pond that fronts the right side of the
green make it important to hit a straight tee
shot. The green is large and tricky to read
giving players with a little local knowledge an
edge in making a birdie putt.
