NEW FOR 2009
SINGLE MEMBERSHIPS
After considerable discussions and meetings, extensive
financial and demographic research, and solicited
input from other private clubs across the state, The
Board has elected to change our current membership
classification structure. All golf members now have
the option to choose between a Family or Single
Membership as their identified golf
classification. Golf Playing, Intermediate, Senior,
and Junior golf members will now have a similar
option to choose regardless of their marital status,
(the previous single membership at Sunnybrook only
included “unmarried” singles).
The 2009 dues structure for Family and Single Memberships is
as follows:

Single Membership
is exactly what it states, membership for (1) member
that includes full privileges of the club.
Spouses/significant others and children are now
considered guests and will have NO membership
privileges. The dues paying single member must
accompany any and all guests while they partake of
Sunnybrook Country Club amenities. Guests will be
able to play golf and use the pool with the
appropriate guest rate charged at time of use.
Guests only have the ability to play a maximum of
(4) eighteen hole rounds per year. Couples golf
events will not be included under this membership
classification. Guests of the single member will
not be able to host additional guests without the
expressed consent of the dues paying, single member.
Family membership
will remain the same as currently identified today.
This includes the member, spouse/significant other
and unmarried children, (but excluding children over
25 years of age and excluding children of the
significant other). An unmarried child shall be
entitled to the privileges of membership until the
end of the calendar year in which that child’s
twenty-fifth birthday occurs, so long as that child
is also a full-time student whose permanent
residence is in the member’s home.
